Consultant ecologists providing wildlife surveys, phase 1 habitat surveys & other ecological studies across Southern England & Wales

Training

Training is an important part of continuing professional development for ecologists, for those wishing to enter the conservation field, those studying relevant university courses and for developers wishing to understand the complex issues involved with wildlife and its legal protection in this country.

4 Acre Ecology offers training tailored to the needs of clients, colleges and professionals. Courses include individual lectures on specific species ecology and longer courses on survey methods (such as Otter, Water Vole, small mammals, Dormice and Great Crested Newts) plus tool box talks for staff on sites with particular ecological constraints.

In addition, 4 Acre Ecology can offer presentations for planning/development staff outlining the legislative framework of protection for wildlife in this country, or what considerations should be made when planning the development of a site.

If you are interested in receiving this type of specialist training for yourself, your company or college please email training@4acreecology.co.uk.
